Website Design

Our website design services focus on WordPress implementation and customization. We have found the WordPress platform to be versatile and economical for clients needing: content management, class registration, low volume shopping carts, photo slideshows, social media connections and blogging capabilities. Our hosted sites are on solar powered servers.

Below are examples of websites designs.

Sunny Point Café Website

Home page of the Sunny Point Café's website includes a slide show of exterior images on the right, while the left side is used to post info about upcoming events.

We love Sunny Point Café. Amazing food, fun staff and of course incredibly convenient for us.

Their site is designed to be bright and cheerful, reflecting the style and feel of the restaurant. It contains all the expected and useful items – menus, hours, directions, contact info, employment application and links.

Then we had some fun… placing quotes and facts about bacon, as well as a series of slide shows which contain images from the building and garden construction, to staff tattoos and special events.

Sunny Point Café has received numerous accolades and media mentions. If you haven’t been there, we highly recommend it. They are open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week, and for dinner Tuesday through Saturday. If you have been, well go back again. We bet you haven’t tried everything on their menu yet.

Spellbound Children’s Bookshop Online

On first load the header for Spellbound's site has animated stars.

Spellbound Children’s Bookshop is an independent bookstore in downtown Asheville specializing in children’s books. A website with full content management allows them a lot of flexibility in communicating to their clients and supporting their excellent customer service.

They can post events such as book clubs, author signings and story times, all accessible through sidebar lists and a graphical calendar interface. Of great importance is their ability to post recommendations, reviews and previews of books, sorting them by age groupings.

In styling the site, we took cues from their existing logo, which is fun and dynamic. Giving some animation to the header on first load, bold colors throughout and a background that ties into the logo.

If you are in downtown Asheville, stop in. They are located at 19 Wall Street, or visit Spellbound online at: www.spellboundchildrensbookshop.com
