We completed a website for Brandy earlier in the year when she was working from a home studio for her chair repair businesses. As her business picked up she needed a larger and more accessible studio space. She found such at 375 Depot Street in the River Arts District. The move enabled Brandy to also kick start her second company, Planet Art Picture Framing and Gallery.

With two businesses to promote Brandy asked us to design two sided business cards and rack cards, so she could not only save on printing costs, but also easily cross promote her skills. We had just completed the design of her Planet Art logo, so the timing was perfect. Now surrounded by other artisans and in an easy to access location, Brandy and Dave are staying very busy.

Brandy Clements is accomplished in chair repair, namely chair caning. You know those wonderfully comfortable woven seats in cool patterns. Her family has been caning since the mid-1800s and she continues the tradition in her West Asheville studio. We customized a WordPress site, which among many features, allows her to post images of her working and interacting with visitors. She can also feature her “contemporary antiques” which are for sale in the Mountain Made gallery at the Grove Arcade in downtown Asheville.
